    Not great for my skin.

This was very watery and irritated and then broke me out in little bumps the next day after one use. I have combination skin which is sensitive and my skin reacts within 5 days of introducing new products. I normally use another well known brand but thought I would give this one a go, unfortunately this was not good for my skin and I had to bin the two bottles I'd bought and returned to me other brand - if it ain't broken and all that!

    Makes a difference

It's been maybe 2 weeks, and I do see a difference. Skin is smoother after putting it on, and spots are gradually getting lighter. Zero irritation, and I'm someone who's had a lifetime of eczema and rashes. Recommended.

    Essential oils present...

I started using this serum hoping to get good results but when I started using this I got small pimples all over my face and neck. I always check the ingredients list before purchasing any skincare products, but no comedogenic ingredient was detected in the ingredients on the website. But to my surprise, on the serum bottle, it said that it contained ESSENTIAL OILS which can clog pores. So if youre acne prone, I would look for other options

    Good product

This product is actually helping to fade my melasma. Results do not happen overnight. My skin has gotten brighter. I use this with tranexamic acid serum and niacinamide.

The early-20s is a suitable age for using Alpha Arbutin, as that's when the first signs of age spots & sun damage in the form of pigmentation might start showing.
Alpha Arbutin is a milder alternative to other agents like Kojic Acid (which has high cytotoxicity) and is safe to use. However, people with extra sensitive skin should consult a dermatologist before considering incorporating Alpha Arbutin into their skincare.
